As an active member of Ducks Unlimited, Paroyan's artwork has raised over 
$40,000 for the conservation of wetlands in Canada. 
For his contributions he has been awarded the "Bronze Teal" award by Ducks Unlimited.

In the press:
His carvings are featured in the book "Decoys: A Celebration of 
Contemporary Wildfowl" by Camden House. Paroyan's work has also 
appeared in "Decoys" Equinox calendars from 1992-2000 and 2004.
